INTEGRATING SPHERE MEASUREMENTS

In its photometry laboratory, YFU has also an Integrating Sphere (Ulbricht Sphere). This integrating sphere manufactured by the German company LMT has a diameter of 1 meter, a precise and temperature stabilized photocell, a specially designed measuring unit, different fixtures for different lamps and three different type of standard lamps. With this instrument, measurements given below can be carried out precisely and according to international standards.

Measurement of luminous flux [lm] of any light source.
Measurement of luminous efficacy [lm/W] of any light source.
Direct measurement of light output ratio of any luminaire.
