Prof. Sazi SİREL
Meanwhile he became a specialist in the fields of illumination and acoustics. He studied in both fields in Switzerland and Netherlands. He founded Tekfen Illumination Institute in 1964 and directed it. In 1965 he started to give lectures at Yildiz Technical University on the fields of acoustics and illumination. In 1976 he got the title Prof. The same year he grounded Building Physics Department, in 1978 he established the illumination laboratuary in this department, in 1982 he grounded the graduade license education program. He educated over 50 graduate students and trained nine lecturers. His memberships :
He has charged as President of Yapı Fiziği Uzmanlık Uygulamaları San. ve Tic. A.Ş. (YFU) in 1990. In 1996 he contributed for the realization of Demonstration Center for Illumination of LAMP-83 (a major luminaire manufacturer in Turkey). In 1997 he became the Certificate of Eulogy from International Commission on Illumination (CIE). He prepared over 300 projects on room acoustics, noise controle & illumination and controled their applications. Several books, articles and papers written by Prof Sazi Sirel have been published.

In 1944 he graduated from Galatasaray High School and Composition
Department of Conservatory of Istanbul. After being student in the Astronomical Physics
Department of Istanbul University, he went to Academy of Fine Arts in Istanbul and
graduated from there in 1951 as architect. He worked as self-employed architect for twelve
years and more than 50 of his project have been applied.
