NOISE CONTROL PROJECTS

YFU, makes projects for indoor noise control, protection against outer noise and control of mechanical noises in buildings, to obtain results which fulfil the requirements of Noise Control Regulation in Turkey. Below, these subjects are briefly explained.

Indoor noise control
- Decrease of indoor noise level, taking precautions at noise sources and at room volume and room surfaces.
- Decrease of noise reduction level between different rooms below prescribed figures.
Protection against External Noise
- Increasing outer to inner noise reduction level to achieve a room-noise level below prescribed figures by taking precautions at the facade of the building.
Mechanical Noise Control in Buildings
- Reducing the noise level caused by mechanical devices and their accessories, below the level of annoyance. This is achieved by taking precautions at mounting of such instruments to floor, wall or ceiling and using appropriate connections, hence reducing the amount of vibration transfered to the rigid constructional elements.
