LUMINAIRE and REFLECTOR DESIGN

YFU, has designed many reflectors for the Turkish luminaire manufacturers. These designs bring very important advantages such as, a desired peak angle for the reflector can be achieved, the light energy loss due to consecutive reflections in the reflector can be prevented hence light output ration is increased, light and color defects at the illuminated area are cancelled out.

Prototypes of luminaires designed by YFU are measured in the photometry laboratory of YFU before mass-production is started. If necessary, small corrections are made to obtain the best result and then the allowance for mass-production is given.
