YFU, has been founded in 1986, gathering 30 years of knowledge, experience and documentation in the fields of illumination, acoustics and other building physics themes. The aim was to provide academic solutions for the problems in these fields, which are developing in Turkey.
Legally being a joint-stock company YFU continues its activities with a project bureau and a measurement laboratory. The possibilities like import, export etc. are mainly used for the project bureau and the measurement laboratory, in order to meet the needs directly and in a short time.
Most of the works done in the bureau are done with computers which are equipped with commercial programs which are customized for our own needs and some own-developed programs. Laboratory works are also carried out with intelligent measurement equipment interfaced with computer. Depending on subject, the measurements are made either in our laboratory or on site.
Our project bureau and the laboratory are mutually supporting each other for measurement and calculations as well as experiments and research
In addition to these activities, YFU supports spreading out the fundamental knowledge to the society, especially in the fields of illumination and acoustics. To achieve this, YFU issues some booklets free of charge, sends articles to various periodicals, supplies technical information to the students asking for assistance and arranges seminars on these topics.
